xFive Club joins the IPL Summer Series in CS2

We're in. xFive Club is playing the IPL Summer Series for Counter-Strike 2, the Iberian Pro League competition that kicked off on July 25 and hands out 24 spots to clubs from Spain and Portugal. We landed in Group A, and the goal is clear: finish in the top six and move straight up to IPL CS2 First Division.

What the IPL Summer Series is

The Iberian Pro League runs this summer series as the entry point into its CS2 division structure. The format is easy to follow: 24 teams split into two groups of 12, round-robin league within each group.

What's on the line in each group:

• The top six advance directly to IPL CS2 First Division.
• Seventh through twelfth earn a spot in Second Division.
• If a team gives up its place, it passes to the next team in the standings.

There's prize money per group on top of promotion: €180 for first, €110 for second, €80 for third, and smaller amounts down to sixth. This is real Iberian competition, with a rule that backs it up: every team has to field at least three Spanish or Portuguese players in each match.

How it's played

Matches run on weekends, with two rounds per day. The schedule isn't locked yet: the organizers will agree it with the teams so as many as possible can play with full availability. As soon as we have a confirmed calendar, we'll post it here and on our social channels.
