Cookie policy

This policy explains which cookies and similar storage technologies are used by xFive Club's public website (xfive.club) and its internal application, xFive Hub (hub.xfive.club), in compliance with Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE).

What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser to remember information between visits or between pages. Your browser's local storage (localStorage) serves a similar purpose.

Public website (xfive.club)

The public website sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics or advertising cookies. That is why it does not ask for your consent when you arrive.

  • High score in the error page game. Saved in your browser's local storage (localStorage). It never leaves your device, and you can delete it at any time from your browser settings.
  • Twitch player. It does not load until you click to watch. From that moment on, Twitch may set its own cookies, governed by its cookie policy.
  • YouTube videos. Thumbnails are served from our own server, without connecting to YouTube. Clicking one opens YouTube, where its privacy policy applies.

Admin panel and xFive Hub

These are private areas, only for club staff and members with an account. They use these first-party cookies:

  • Session cookie (better-auth.session_token or similar): keeps you signed in and protects your session. It is technical and strictly necessary. It expires when you sign out or when the session ends.
  • Side menu state (sidebar_state, Hub only): remembers whether you keep the menu open or closed. It is a customisation cookie you request yourself, and it lasts one week.

The admin panel's sign-in form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people apart from bots. Turnstile may use its own technical storage for that security purpose only.

When you open a VOD on the Hub, the YouTube or Twitch player loads and may set its own cookies under its policies.

Technical cookies and user-requested customisation cookies are exempt from the consent requirement (Article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE).

How to manage or delete cookies

You can view, block or delete cookies and local storage from your browser settings. If you block the session cookie, you will not be able to sign in to the admin panel or the Hub.

Changes to this policy

If we introduce new cookies, we will update this page. If any of them were not exempt, we would only enable it after asking for your consent. More information on how your data is processed is available in the Privacy policy.
